Illuminating our skies on November 5^th, the Full Beavers Super Moon offers a final call to prepare and gather before the arrival of winter. At this point in the year, I warmly embrace the opportunity to turn inwards – both literally and metaphorically - stepping into my home and into my soul, for quiet introspection, security and warmth.  

As we make our way through the dark, Samhain reaches out and offers us a candle of light. It is a beautiful Sabbat, celebrating the impermanence of life, reminding us to honour our ancestors and loved ones who have crossed over. Samhain is a potent time for divination, as the veil between realms thins and communication with those who have passed begins to flow more freely. 

Like a little dose of Vitamin D, Citrine is the perfect stone to have in your home or workplace. She has a primary mission to help us reach our goals with confidence and a deep sense of inner strength. Like the last warm glow of the summer sun, Citrine will radiate positivity and optimism into your day.

Unlike other moons, whose names correspond to specific months, the Harvest Moon moves with the season – aligning with the Autumn Equinox. Illuminating our skies this year on October 6^th, we celebrate the Harvest Moon as the first Full Moon of Autumn and the first of three Supermoons.  

As we enter the season of Mabon, there are some things I notice more than others. The sound of leaves crunching underfoot as I walk, nature ablaze with colour, and the scent of fresh earth after rainfall when the wind picks up. These are the signs of Mabon.  

Illuminating our skies on September 7^th, the Full Corn Moon is a wonderful opportunity to begin preparing for the new season ahead. Here in the UK, Autumn begins on September 1^st, signified by the scattering of golden leaves and blackberries ripening in the hedgerow. However, astronomically we wait until the Autumn Equinox, which officially marks the start of Autumn on September 22^nd.   

With the peaceful, centred energy of the moon, Selenite is a powerful crystal which I often find myself drawn to. She is named after Selene - the mystical Goddess of the Moon – and embodies lunar magic in many ways. A form of gypsum - which often appears translucent, white, or pearly – Selenite reflects light in a soft, glowing way which is reminiscent to moonlight.
