Illuminating our skies on March 3rd, the Full Worm Moon is a beautiful beacon in our sky, signalling the long-awaited coming of Spring. While not the most poetic of names, the March Full Moon marks the reappearance of the earthworm, who awaken to aerate the soil, ready for planting season to begin. This transformative Moon represents new beginnings and growth, what will it awaken in you?
A VIRGO MOON
The Worm Moon is a potent time for reflection and planning as we welcome the end of Winter and embrace the return of Spring. Rising in Virgo, she holds a practical energy that brings organisation and efficiency - perfect for navigating the transformative vibration that is particularly powerful during this lunar phase.
With the critical perfectionism of Virgo, the Worm Moon invites you to set intentions that are grounded in self-improvement and growth, while welcoming new beginnings to take root. A BLOOD MOON
As you observe the Worm Moon on March 3rd, you may notice she holds a reddish hue. This is called a blood moon, and it happens when the Earth passes directly between the sun and the moon, casting its shadow over the lunar surface and causing a lunar eclipse.
A blood moon, or lunar eclipse, is an enigmatic sight well worth staying up late for. Through her amplified vibration, she is believed to carry a deeply transformative and cleansing force, far more potent than that of a typical Full Moon.
With her ominous, crimson shade, the Worm Moon is like hitting a big reset button. She is a time of emergence and renewal, where hidden truths are revealed, and emotional wounds are healed, freeing us from the things that no longer serve or bring joy.

FINAL THOUGHTS
It has been another long, cold and particularly wet Winter. There are parts of Cornwall (where I am based), which saw 40 consecutive days of rain since the new year started! I am so ready to put away my raincoat and start welcoming Spring.
