Bestseller Spotlight: The Crystal Ball

If ever there were a product that captured the spirit and magic of my brand, it would be the crystal ball. A best seller for four years, I never in my wildest dreams imagined how popular these mystical little balls would be!  So, I thought it would be fun to put together a little post telling you all about the captivating and highly sought-after crystal ball. 

Where it all began 

The idea was inspired by my vast collection of crystal spheres, so you might say that the crystal ball itself was my muse. As a practising witch, I often find myself drawn to crystals and enjoy finding more ways to use them in my work. Muses come in lots of forms, and when I looked at the many spheres I had collected, I had a sudden spark of inspiration. The idea filled me with so much joy and excitement that I knew I had to give it a go, and so the crystal ball was first created.  

I was instantly blown away by the incredible reception this product received! Many of my now long-term customers discovered me because of it, and I soon became known as the ‘crystal ball lady’. I am eternally grateful to this product for bringing so many of you into my life, and for the magic it has brought to so many of you! 

What started as the crystal ball soon evolved with time as I introduced her sister products, the visionary crystal ball and the ever-popular galaxy ball. Sometimes the simplest spark of inspiration really can be the most powerful design. 

The Galaxy Ball 

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hold the whole galaxy in your hand? This is how I felt when I first laid my eyes on these mesmerising lampwork marbles, by the talented Sally Sutherland Design. I was inspired by their unique beauty and decided to collaborate with her to produce the galaxy ball in 2021. 

The galaxy ball became a much-loved product with my followers, even being described by one customer as “wearable art”. For me, they remind me of the cat with the belt of Orion on his collar in the MiB movies, each one capturing the magic of the whole galaxy inside. 

Made with fine silver, hand-stamped with a celestial design, and a whole lot of magic, the galaxy ball (along with her sisters, the visionary and crystal ball) is part of the storyteller collection. They are highly sought after, and I release them in small, made-to-order, batches - so keep an eye out for my next drop. 

Sally says: “These marbles are the perfect combination of science and wonder...creating perfect spheres you could lose yourself in, connect yourself to the depth of space and remind yourself of your place in the cosmos”. 

The Visionary Ball 

One for the dreamer, scryer, witch or wizard, the visionary ball was released in October 2023 as a new addition to the crystal ball family. She comes with a slight twist to the original and holds her own unique, organic look.  

A magical amulet tells a story of her own to whoever looks within. Whether you see the forest or the tideline, each one has a unique message to be discovered inside her mystifying crystal quartz.  

The visionary ball came to life after a course I took in 2023. During the course, I made a wax casting, creating this beautiful organic shape, which sets her apart from the others. Once in wax, a mould is made which I can then use to cast in sterling silver. Unlike the many variations of the crystal ball, the visionary ball is only made using clear quartz. This master healer crystal is good for transformation and clarity and is the perfect aid for healing, meditation and connecting to your higher self. 

I really love the way this piece came out, and my customers do too! As part of the storyteller collection, I feel that this one leaves the story for the customer to discover for themselves, which I think is pure magic.  

How to Order Yours! 

The crystal ball is so adored that I announce regular drops, often alternating between the crystal or galaxy ball, with the visionary as a separate product release. Each piece is made to order and released in batches, with the sale dates announced on my social media. Subscribers will have early access to shop all updates. 

As the crystal balls sell out so quickly, I recommend joining my mailing list and adding me to your 'safe senders’ list to avoid any emails being lost in your junk folder. Alternatively, keep an eye on my socials as I will always announce the date of each drop there.
