The Moon of Falling Leaves

The Moon of Falling Leaves

Sterling silver | Rainbow Moonstone
"Many of the American Indian tribes, including the Ojibway, Lakota (Sioux), Chippewa, Arapaho and Cree, considered this Full Moon the Moon of the Falling Leaves, obviously because at this time the leaves are falling everywhere, splashing their beautiful colors all over the ground. Soon October 29th, be sure to look, not only up at the beautiful Moon, but downward at the resultant experiences here on Earth: The leftover stumps of the crops in the fields, and the carpet of leaves beautifying the land "

This beautiful flashy blue Rainbow Moonstone round cabochon is set in a sterling silver bezel with a surround of falling leaves with a crescent moon adding magic to the piece. The chain has been decorated with sprinkling moonstone and a moon charm before being finished with a hook and ring fastening.

This piece is hallmarked in accordance to the British Assay Office ~ featuring my makers mark.
